Got into a discussion with Ben Harrison, Put This On’s director, about the underratedness of the Neptunes’ Clones. A few genuinely awful songs, but some fantastic ones as well. The above Snoop track is a favorite, though maybe my #1 is Rosco P. Coldchain’s “Hot,” which also features great verses from Pusha T and Boobonic from Phillie’s Most Wanted. Rarely does a week go by that I don’t bum out over ‘Sco getting all murdery and never coming out with an album.
