1. An old acquaintance of mine - a journalist who used to cover San Francisco Sketchfest religiously - has gotten into the app business with a very cool idea. His app is called Shake-N-Tell, and for 99 cents, it will essentially outline stories for you to tell your kid. They’re simple, with interchangable parts, and it allows you to tell your kid a story they’ve never heard a bajillion times. It’ll even record you telling the story for posterity.
